Meet the team

Mike is married to Hiroko and they have 4 children, Hiroko also plays a prominent role in the ministry.

Mike was a chartered civil engineer and involved with the development of the new city of Milton Keynes for many years. During this time, the Lord gave him a vision for the development of a healing centre in Milton Keynes. He has seen that vision come into being from the early 90’s onwards and in 2005 Mike founded the Gilgal House Healing Centre and is the current director. Mike has been trained in inner healing and deliverance at a number of places, he is a SOZO practitioner and a trained Christian counsellor. He has a passion to see a release of the Father’s heart in healing and deliverance enabling the body of Christ to be fully released into their destiny.

Mike teaches a variety of courses on healing and deliverance and has been involved in powerful ministry on an individual basis to those with a variety of deep personal needs. In recent years, the Lord has called Mike to focus on the needs of those who have been sexually and ritually abused, an area where he has received specialist training.

Hiroko, originally from Japan was a qualified midwife and maternity nursing teacher. Since coming to England she has had a burden for setting the captives free and has been trained in counseling, inner healing and deliverance. She has worked alongside Mike since 2005 and has a passion to see the Holy Spirit release people into their destiny.

Annette has been connected with Gilgal House for about 13 years and has been very involved with the SOZO ministry. Annette hosts a house church and an intercessory prayer group. They network with other Christian groups across Milton Keynes. Annette’s passion is to see the sons and daughters of God rise up as they grow in intimacy with the Godhead. Annette lives in Milton Keynes and has two children and 6 grandchildren.

John is married to Christine, they have two adult children and have recently celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. John currently works part time for MINDBLMK, the local mental health charity.
For some years, John has been involved in church leadership facilitating Alpha courses and SOZO training. John is a retired architect and his professional career was largely centered around prison design including a programme management role to reduce suicide and self harm in custodial settings.

Steve Hepden has been in Christian work since 1981. He has more than 50 years experience of various kinds of church leadership, which includes pastoring, teaching, preaching, planting new works, as well as working with a large international ministry centre. Over the years, Steve has become very well known both nationally and internationally, as  a gifted teacher with a powerful prophetic anointing. His third book, ‘The Orphan Heart’ was published in December 2021. Steve’s heart is to see a release of Word and Spirit with the expression of the Father’s passionate and intimate heart.

Born and bred in Northampton, John has been Director of the Manna House in Northampton for over 35 years. The centre consists of a busy, well respected Counselling and Counsellor training service which serves clients from Northamptonshire and beyond.
Married to Val, for over 44 years, he has 3 grown-up children and 3 grandchildren. He has served in local church leadership for a period of 12 years and has a strong desire to see the Church working in unity and to its full potential. He is heavily involved in the local community serving on the Executive of the local Community Voluntary Service (CVS), a Trustee with the Sir Thomas White Charity in Northampton and is a founder member of the Mental Health Northants Collaboration, a group of charities delivering mental health services across the county. He is also a Fellow of the Association of Christian Counsellors and served on their Executive as Director of Professional Standards, Chairing the Accreditation Committee for just under 20years. He is a keen sportsman and plays golf off a handicap of 10.
